What is my choice ? What is the importance of choice in democracy ? Does choice determine freedom ? These are some of the most pertinent questions that needs to be answered once we make a choice for taking any decision. Today we live in a free world with many options and choices to make before we come to a final conclusion. This exercise itself is empowering and determines our independence.
The problem comes when choice brings many players in the market who are not competent and bring below standard products. Choice is also important for the people who are underprivileged as they are not in a position to afford the best of the products because of less money. These are the sections of people who are catered to below standard products. These needs to be monitored and regulated as a level playing field is important to be established, so as to stop the exploitation and bring price neutrality in the market.
