Listening !

What is that one thing which if not done properly will not make you a better communicator ? Well, that’s listening skills. Listening is like water to body, deficit of which will make it weak and not sustainable. This one skill will make you a world class communicator with great level of confidence and class. This one aspect of communication is not talked about as importantly at speaking and appearance.

No matter how good you speak, if you are not able to listen to what others are saying you won’t be making the difference. Its like giving respect to not only what the other person is saying but also how much you value in investing time and efforts for building relationships. Listen to people not to listen but to understand what they are saying and more importantly what they want to say. Read between the lines, get the emotions and then respond.
